Acorn Foundation for the Poor, a non-profit and non-governmental organization, was founded in 2020 with the primary goal of providing assistance and support to less-privileged individuals and communities. Officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria in 2022, our journey began with a group of passionate individuals who recognized the urgent need to uplift the less fortunate and create sustainable changes in their lives.

The name “Acorn” was chosen with careful consideration, inspired by the resilient strength of this small seed that grows into a mighty oak tree. It symbolizes our firm belief in the potential for growth and transformation within every individual, regardless of their circumstances, race, ethnicity, or religious beliefs.

Our organization is actively engaged in health sensitization campaigns in primary and secondary schools.
